Photography Portfolio

Piccillo Photography was founded in 2006, primarily offering freelance sports photography services to Buffalo, NY area colleges and organizations. The Athletics department at Erie Community College provided tremendous support at this stage, and was the primary client of piccillo Photography for several years.

Larger events soon followed. Triathlons and other sporting events presented new technical and logistical challenges including managing multiple photographers, online image sales and live event printing. Notable clients included ScoreThis!!! and Carly's Club at Roswell Park, both of whom produced amazing events with a tremendously positive and electric atmosphere!

The transition to commercial studio photography, and beginning to distribute work through multiple international agencies, allowed expansion into new markets and creative outlets. This style of work has becme the primary focus of Piccillo Photoraphy. Subjects range from still life / product photography, lifestyle imagery and model / actor portfolio work, with a specialty in sport and fitness themes.

Meanwhile, occasional opportunities to create custom work have arisen. In addition to creating lasting friendships, these projects have helped to expand creative and technical capabilities, and reinvigorate passion for the photographic medium. One such project was promotional images for the short film "Mason" by Anteros Productions, filmed in Albany, NY.
